Resolution
Images output smaller than 96"x120" need a minimum of 100ppi at final size.
Images output larger than 96"x120" in either dimension, need a minimum of 30ppi at final size. (Exception: Files with rasterized type smaller than five inches in character height must have a minimum of 100ppi at final size)
Resolution of files must be native, not manufactured. What this means is the files should be scanned with the appropriate resolution. Layouts built in Adobe Photoshop or similar editing software should start with a minimum of 100ppi. Do not enlarge elements placed within a raster layout. This will result in image degradation.
Color
Files may be submitted as CMYK or RGB. RGB files will be converted to CMYK before printing. Sometimes this causes a color shift. Preview your image in CMYK before submitting it.
Download Prepress Specs
